A Walk with Walt? On Jul 14, 3:31 pm, "King's Crown" <qo...@************> wrote:

Presuming you mean "Walking in Walt's Footsteps", yes I did it in
April of this year. It was an "okay" tour, but is probably better
suited to those Disney fans who aren't obsessed enough to be
participating in Usenet Disney groups. :-P Basically, I knew about
90% of the information the tour guide gave us.
It starts at Town Hall, walks up Main Street, through the castle,
through Fantasy land, onto the train to New Orleans Square. You then
get to see the "lobby" of Club 33 (which I personally thought was
disappointing). You do a surprise meet-and-greet of sorts that I
won't spoil for you, then back down Main St to have lunch to the left
of Town Hall. And of course, you get a pin. :-) Throughout the
tour, the guide has a bunch of recordings of Walt and some of the
original Imagineers that he plays at the appropriate time, giving
information about the planning and designing of the park.
It was a decent tour, and I'd recommend it if you're going to be in DL
for more than 2 days, but I wouldn't spend the time on it if you only
have a day or two to spend at both parks.
Note that unlike Keys to the Kingdom at Walt Disney World, you do NOT
go backstage at any point (unless you count the lobby of Club 33)
