Default Transferring from one resort to another

Has anyone here transferred, that is checked out of one WDW resort and moved
to another? We've done that but had a car. My sister-in-law's family (12
of them) will be at AS for 5 nights then move to SoG. They have no idea
how they'll get moved, all of them plus their stuff. I was just wondering
if there's any possiblity that the resorts would provide some type of
shuttle or will they have to hire taxis, Mears Shuttle, etc.
Thanks,
JD

Disney will move luggage between their own resorts, I'm not sure if
Swan/Dolphin and SoG are included in that list though.....

A taxi would be the best bet otherwise....

We were moved from OKW to the Dolphin once. Very easy, they took care
of the bags. No trouble getting there since check-in isn't until later
in the day. We took a bus to the Studios, then the boat to the Dolphin
when it was time to check-in. Our bags were there waiting for us.-

We once moved from CBR to the Boardwalk. I called and asked for
transportation for four of us and luggage to the Customs House from
our rooms (Jamaica?) so we could catch a taxi. A van showed up and the
driver loaded our luggage I asked if he was taking us to the Customs
House or directly to the Boardwalk. He said, "You're going to the
Boardwalk?", then called someone, (presumably) received approval and
took us directly there - free of charge (except for the large tip he
earned).

Our transfer was some time ago, maybe 6 or 7 years ago. It was just
the two of us, and there wasn't much luggage to speak of since we were
there for a long weekend.
