whole area, including a pretty lengthy shot of the Wildhorse Saloon.
Go figure. :) | |

Well, his words were:
>Clearly, this is the type of entertainment Disney prefers to horribly
>dangerous stuff like, oh, improv comedy and environmental theatre.
Does that statement make any kind of logical sense? Of course not.
Disney certainly wants no crime or violence of any kind either on their
property, or within any relative distance to infer relationship to
Disney. But at the same time, as numerous threads in this newsgroup
have demonstrated, there is a level of dismay and distaste about Disney
closing the two most entertaining and comedic nightclubs of PI. The
slam is against Disney, and is attempting to use sarcastic parody to
imply Disney considers CW and AC to be fully non-netertaining, and thus
worthy of closure.
I really don't know any other way to describe the sarcastic dark humor
the OP used, only to say that I have used this form of sarcasm in voice
form to great laughter. Perhaps, had the OP been able to make his
comment at an RADP Meet, the sarcasm of it would have played better to
you.
The more I look at the above quote, the more I feel it was humour,
satire, sarcasm and a slam against the closing of the AC and CW, and not
any even vague support of guns and shootings on Disney properties.

Er - maybe it's just me, but that makes no sense. Please expound.

Now I will say that I respect that response. I might even agree to a
degree.

| | Guest | Downtown Disney Shooting Most recreation in southern California
has become very Spanish, especially the
free stuff, because the majority of the population
is Spanish now. One just lives with it. I wouldnt be
surprised if they alternative the afternoon and
evening parade in different languages or
have special language zones along the
route. For safety purposes they need more
Spanish signage in the parks. | |

Wow, coming in to the middle of this discussion about "Downtown Disney
Shooting" and reading the above makes no sense. Maybe I AM hitting the juice
too hard...

Now that brings out some disturbing images. I need another beer.
