| | Guest | Received my Mickey Moms Club package Received a very nice package from Disney yesterday just for applying to
the Mom's Panel back in the fall. A really cool folder, with a removable
photo of the 'Fab Five' on the cover. Inside, a welcome letter and thanks
for applying to the inaugural group. Included in this folder: a mouse pad
(pun definitely intended), a large car magnet (tho mine will stay indoors on
my file cabinet), 2 Tinker Bell trading pins "Where Dreams Come True", a
sheet of stickers and the 2008 Disney Parks Vacation planning DVD. Also
included, a small book of tips from the Moms Panel.
Members voted, and the name of the panel is now the Mickey Moms Club. I
know that Disney capped the applications to 10,000 (up from 5,000
initially). This is quite a nice package to send out to that many people!
And to think that I was excited to receive a pin from a castmember on my
last trip for YOMD!

Me too - the pins are cute, even though I'm not a pin collecter. I
wish the mousepad was just Disney - not "Mom's".....I AM a mom but I
don't really identify myself that way....I'm alot more than that.
Plus, the baby is 21 years old ;-) But, it's a nice gesture on
Disney's part.

Hey, My babies are 14 and almost 20! I still feel like a Disney Mom! The
mousepad makes me smile everytime I sit here at the computer! My daughter
collects Tinker Bell pins specifically, so she was thrilled with mom's
'booty'. LOL

I didn't get mine yet. :( Got an email telling me about it on the
10th. Did it fit in your mailbox?
It did NOT fit in my mailbox, actually...and I have a large box! Luckily,
it was not a rainy day, as my porch is not covered. The mailman left it
propped on the little bench that sits under the mailbox. I suppose with
10,000 of these to be delivered, it will get to you eventually! Let us know
when it does! Enjoy!

Our's just rips the door from the mailbox and throws it through the
living room window. He then folds the parcel so it will fit through
the opening and stuffs it in the mailbox. If the contents are too
stiff to fold, they have at it with the radial arm saw they keep in
the back of the truck for such occasions. Ahhhh... New York.

Well move out to Voorheesville, Steve! Anything that won't fit in the
mailbox, my mailman brings right to our door! And we 1/4 mile off the
main drag up a dirt driveway that is like an obstacle course. Now
that's a devoted mailman!!!!
