My one and only visit to Pecos Bill's I waited in line for over 30
minutes to order, couldn't find a place to sit down once we had our
food, couldn't get near the much ballyhooed fixin's bar. It was total
chaos and we weren't even there at a busy time!!!! This place left a
bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended.

I eat at White Castle about once a year, just to remind myself why
I only eat at White Castle about once a year...

I would step out on a limb here, and say that I've never had *any*
good food in MK. I *always* try to get food before I go into the
park, or will monorail over to Epcot or go back the Resort to eat. I
don't think I've ever gotten really *bad* food at MK, but nothing I'd
classify as *good*, either.

Maybe it's because the food in MK is more directed toward it's
target crowd: Kids.

My experience and feelings exactly.

Even earlier than the "calling for a PS on the same day era," I used
to just drive over and be able to eat almost anywhere.

The only two "tactics" necessary (i.e. just common sense) were:

1. Get to the parks early and make a reservation right away for the
most popular venues.
or
2. Just walk up to any restaurant at off times. I used to walk up
about 10-15 minutes before lunch or dinner would begin, or walk up
about 10-15 minutes before lunch or dinner would end, and get seated
better than 80% of the time.

The current WDW dining situation is unacceptable.
