"Winter" is the official opening time for SE, it is expected to open
on December 18th.
Forgive me if this has already been done. | |

Cool PP!
I'm jealous :)
I was thinking that a year ago today, DH and I were leaving for our 10
days at the Poly and our first RADP meet.

Sadly, no surprise visit.
I know I can't complain after last Dec. trip and the trip with DD in
Sept-2 long trips in 10 months but I WANT to go back NOW. Love the Xmas
decorations.

I am hoping to see SE when I am down there the last week in December.
More often than not, I seem to miss soft openings by a week one way or
another.
Though I have managed a few. Most recent was when they opened the Nemo
ride in The Seas. It was on one of my solo trips to visit my daughter,
and we visited on a day that we heard that previews might start.
However, construction walls were up and no previews were happening
that day.
The next day I was heading over to EPCOT on my own while my daughter
was at work, and as the monorail passed overhead, I noticed that the
construction walls were down, so I decided to go take some pictures.
When I got there, the entrance was still manned by a CM stating that
the attraction was not yet open. Then ... as I was finishing my
picture taking, he moved the rope and asked anyone in the area if they
wanted to be the first to try out the ride ... which I did - twice.
Later in the week, my daughter and I rode again when they had CM
previews.
