| | Guest | Spaceship Earth I haven't been do WDW in quite some time now. Is the Spaceship Earth
soundtrack still the one from '94 or did they ever change it?
Thanks,

Actually, the February re-opening has now been confirmed. It's posted on the
WDW website as being closed through mid-February.

Bummer. We're there in January and I was looking forward to seeing the
updated ride. I guess we'll catch it next time.

Yeah. I'm going in early December, and was hoping to get to see both the
updated SSE and Haunted Mansion. Guess I'll just have to be happy with the
Mansion (and I'm sure I will) :-)
I'll be looking forward to my trip next June even more now. :-) (I just
have to decide if I can keep myself from peeking at reports, photos and
videos for 3 1/2 months after it reopens)

Ok, if 'spaceship' is one word, why are you using SSE instead of 'SE'?

| | Guest | Spaceship Earth I have had two trips now where Spaceship Earth was closed, (plus
December will make three).
It really surprised me how much I missed the attraction!!!
It will be next October before I get down there, so I've got 8-9
months to avoid spoilers!!!
I LOVE SSE, and from what I've heard, Siemens is spending the bucks to
make it good!!!

And now that DCA is comfortable with the idea of having to rig a "new
entryway" to cover rehabs on the Golden Gate entrance--
Will it be enough to someday push Epcot toward the idea of rebuilding
SSE (and the old 80's track system built into foundations) from the
ground up, which would unfortunately block most of Epcot's FW park entrance?

If you enjoy it immensely that's great. Certainly noone can call you
wrong on that.

Without referring to any video or descriptions of it, name 3 points of
"information" you gained from it.
