Boardwalk Info?

Don't hear too much about this place.

Haven't ever been to this-is it worth spending some time here?
What's it like?

We were thinking it might be fun to sidetrack from MGM or Epcot one
afternoon or night and walk over-you can do that with a Park Hopper
right?

Anyone ever stayed at the Boardwalk Inn? Worth the $$?

We've stayed at the property and had to move rooms because ours was so
filthy. There was actually used soap in the tub and shower. So it
was not cleaned before we got there. Next room was fine but not worth
the extra $$ to stay there IMO.

We really like the boardwalk at night. Lively and my almost 8 year
old loves to watch the entertainers.

We really like Spoodles and the flying fish cafe is pricey but tastey
and good service.

We had standard view and actually could see some of Illuminations each
night! Noise was never a problem. We didn't ask for any special
view, by the way, that's just what we got. The rooms are nice but not
worth any more than any other place. It's really nice to be able to
walk into World Showcase and back out that way when you are ready to
leave. The boat is a nice relaxing way to get back to your hotel too
if your feet are too tired!
