Even a little restroom soap and water as "paramedic" stain-rescue until
you can get back to the room does wonders--
Berries, even artificial, is still a protein-based stain, which the
stain-removers can target...Not as bad as oil-based olive oil stains
from the Italian restaurants.

Fantastic spray cleaner, then follow with a hefty layer of hair spray, wash
in cold!
Let us know which one worked!

Shout and hot water did work. I was surprised, actually--I had given
the shirt up for lost. Thank you, Queen of the Laundry Room!

| | Guest | Laundry advice needed I never go anywhere these days (especially out to eat) without a Tide
pen. It works amazingly well and then I spray the stain with Shout
when laundering. | |

I had one of them back in the hotel room but it didn't budge the
stain. That's why I rather thought the shirt was a loss. Would have
been worth it, though, for kakigori ( ).

Used a Tide pen once. The stain got worse and wouldn't wash out. Threw them
away, the pen and the shirt. | |

We were at the Contemporary last year, and my son opened one of those
bbq sauce packets. The entire packet ended up on his white shirt, a
new white t-shirt that we had recently purchased. He used almost all
of the tide pen on it, and it smeared and made the spot much larger.
The shirt sat for many days. Finally washed it, and the stain came
completely out, you never knew it was there. I usually use Shout, but
didn't bring any on our trip. I was very surprised that the Tide
stick worked! I do use it sometimes, but Shout does work much better.
