Wheelchair on the bus

Just so you're aware, there were still a number of old style busses in use this
past April/May when I was there using a scooter I rented from Care Medical.

You know, I think if someone complained verbally, it would erase any self-
consciousness and turn it into indignation. :-) The silent foot tapping
and quiet sighs would be worse than actual complaints!

I think it used to be a much BIGGER problem when all the buses were not
equiped with the wheelchair restraints and sometimes if you used a
wheelchair
you had to wait or they called for a special vehicle to get you. That
was a pain
and as for the foot tapping and sighs... That's their problem. Usually the
tranfer goes very well and guests are hardly disturbed. I hope you Mom can
have a wonderful time. My Dad loved the electric carts when he went a few
years ago. Great fun! Lisa
