Heck yes adults can wear costumes! And it's way more fun if you do!
In 2005, Joe and I went as cave people. I had modified an old Fred
Flintstone costume for Joe (took the tie off, added some other stuff)
but evidently Joe looks like Fred, and evidently I look like Betty, so
all night it was "Hi Fred! Hi Betty!" We finally just gave up and
admitted we'd shown up as Fred and Betty... and had an awesome time
fooling with the cm's about the fact that if I was Betty, and he was
Fred... where was Barney? LOLOLOL
One year, I saw a husband dressed as Dorothy, wife as the Scarecrow,
and the baby in arms as Toto. Husband was about 6'5" and it was
awesome.
I went years ago in a Medusa costume, and had fun with college program
kids who knew the story pretending to shield their eyes.
So, yeah, go in costume! |
