Leave a Legacy monstrosities. I think those detract so much from the
entrance and your first view of Spaceship Earth. I think it was so
much nice to have the raised gardens there from way back when. JMO. | |

i agree..they remind me of little headstones of dead people...it's so
creapy walking past those tiles.
i don't so much like the hat, but i think the ball looks boring with
nothing to dazzle it up....i know, i am one of the few...
i thought the castle looked amazing as a birthday cake though too so i
guess that doesn't say much ; )
-btw- that was my very first trip to wdw-when the castle was
decorated.

I say they take the wand down, paint SE pink, add a few enhancements,
and make it the Epcot 25th anniversary cupcake! Or maybe one of those
pink snowball snacks. What better way to celebrate an anniversary that
to desecrate a landmark. Wait, they already did that to the Castle a
few years ago... | |

Attach a giant catcher's mitt....
Surround the bottom with a giant paper cup, paint the ball white, add
some fake blow-up bananas and strawberries on either side and drizzle
with chocolate brown paint for a giant banana split....
Attach a giant golf club....
Actually paint it like Earth.....

I agree. The Walk Around the World bricks were aesthetically pleasing and
unobtrusive. The Leave a Legacy photos are totally underwhelming, and the
sculptures do make Epcot seem uninviting. How long does Disney have to
keep these things there before its obligation to the people who have bought
one has been met?

I didn't mind the granite monoliths when they first went in. I thought
they were sort of cool looking. Then they started plastering those
tacky little photos all over them and the whole thing just started to
look extremely tacky.

Hey, you're not alone on the cake-castle. I enjoyed it, too. I guess
we are just members of an elite club. Right?
But we part company on Spaceship Earth. I think it's an extremely
beautirul and breath taking structure. That is, without the hand.

Smaller version of the geosphere put on either side of Spaceship Earth
so it looks like a big assed Hidden Mickey. Make the smaller
geospheres rotate. One clockwise, the other counter clockwise. Have
lasers and strobe lights in the smaller geospheres, too. Oh yeah, have
them blaring Carpenters music. Or The Monkees.
