The dates seem to be changing. When I booked my September yesterday,
Member Services said they don't have firm opening dates for accepting
bookings yet, but to keep checking back. At any rate, those who bought
into Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas starting 2/1 will have 4 week or so
head start on the other DVC owners.

What he said.

Current DVC owners can purhase interests in AKL-V as of 2/1. At some
point in March, sales will be opened up to everyone.

I was referring to booking availability. There will be the same
staggered booking access. First, AKL-V owners and then any DVC owner.
Apparently the dates for ability to book are still up in the air, but
first stays are supposed to happen in early September.

That's interesting to know. They have all the info up on the members
only portion of the DVC site. In fact, half the time I can't get rid of
the flash pop up that announces availability. I think non-DVC members
will get their crack in March (probably with a bit of a price incrase,
too). The current AKV deal is $101, I think, with possiblity of $8 per
point credit if you purchase 100 or more. (I can't confirm because the
website just went down. Grrr.)

Rumor has it the price will go to $104 in June. Member fees are $4.62.
