Yes. I just thought that since I was buying round trip tickets they
would extend the date by five days. As long as I can transfer the
funds and let anyone else use them by April 30, it will be okay. Are
you going to Florida before April 30?

No. And I have several hundred $$ that needs to be used by July. I assumed
(erroneously, I guess) that all I had to do was purchase tickets by that
date. It looks like you need to complete travel by then.

Well that's what I thought too. And I figured at the very least they
would give me an extension by a few days but not this time. It
aggravates me because it's my money and it's not like I'm asking for a
refund per se. I want to spend the money with Southwest so they are
going to get the money regardless. I'd rather they not mug me for
it! Hopefully, I can find someone who can use the funds and then
reimburse me. The only advice I can give you is that you buy tickets,
use your SW funds, and then cancel the trip to get another voucher!

That is exactly it, Steve.
I have been able to get an extension in the past. (In July of 05 I was
able to get a 3 month extension.) Wonder why PP had trouble? Perhaps SW
has tightened up.
