Resort check-in problem/suggestion
I have a great overbooking story. Several years ago we had booked a
week at Beach Club. 2 months before our trip I got a call that they
were overbooked and they would put us in the Swan for FREE with FREE
parks tickets. I said no. We visit once a year and the hotel is a big
part of the trip. I said I would take any deluxe Disney resort. They
had none. He kept trying to get me to take it and I stood firm. He
hung up.
When we arrived at the Beach Club there was a mob of angry people with
no rooms. I (in a panic) walked up to check in and was told that my
resort had been changed. I was moved to the Yacht Club. I asked her
to call over there and make sure I had a room before going over. She
said I did. We actually got a great water view and I had paid for a
standard. We had a great time and as you can see, to us a Disney
Resort stay is PRICELESS!
