I spotted a churro wagon in Frontierland recently. Funny, I seem to
remember it selling turkey legs as well. That can't be right.

One of my most vivid memories of Tokyo Disneyland, as a reflection of how
busy the place was, is a churro cart with switchbacks set up in front of it.
And they were full.

You know, we never saw those famous lines. In August, in the supposed
busy season, I even walked right up to the Gyoza cart which is known
for its long lines. Love those gyoza sausage buns!

I decided I had to try one. I wasn't that crazy about it and couldn't
finish the whole thing. Maybe I got a bad one. I like funnel cakes
better but I can't eat a whole one of those either. I love the roasted
cinnamon nuts best but couldn't find those on my last trip. I'm sure I
wasn't looking in the right place but they're usually everywhere at
Epcot and I didn't see any.

Aren't they delicious? They not only smell good; they taste better! I
usually bring some home to munch on but I didn't get them last trip.
Hopefully I'll find them when we go this time around.

Every time I see the churros for sale at Disney, I always think of the
end of that "Simpsons" episode. :)

I'm pretty sure it's roasted cinnamon nuts that I smell from one of the
vending carts in America. The one right in front of the stage area. As
for the Canada area.. I'm not sure. I usually notice the popcorn cart
there, but I'm not remembering the cinnamon scent.
There was something relatively new in that area, though. On New Year's
Eve there was a small temp building that only had some vague sounding
name on it and no menu board or prices or anything. I have no idea what
they were selling but it was apparently very popular that night. Looked
like hot chocolate at least, maybe more. I haven't been back to Epcot
since then, so I don't know if it's still there.

The cart in Fantasyland in the middle of the Pooh-on-Pooh zone was
still selling standard pretzels [salted or unsalted] as 2 weeks ago
when I bought one there. I'm blanking on if there are any other pretzel
carts in MK at the moment.
You weren't trying to find one less than an hour before park closing
time, were you? | |

I felt the same way about a churro. Sort of a like a greasy donut to
me.

Now here we part company. I LOVE funnel cakes. It's like a waffle on
acid or something. But they don't work for me at Disney. I have to
have a funnel cake at a fair. Where junk food rules.

You know, I can't remember those being there, either. I used to get
them years ago. The aroma of the sweet nuts always made me want some.
