Default BookBabe and BookBoy: A Magical Beginning

Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. Thanks for taking the time to
post. By the way, how did you like the drive...and how long did it end
up taking you?

Default EE & motion sickness was BookBabe and BookBoy: A Magical Beginning

I read that you got sick from EE! I don't believe I've heard anyone say
this.

So -- for all of you with motion sickness -- how was EE? I was so looking
forward to doing it next month. Roller coasters like this usually do not
make me sick -- sometimes a little dizzy (like RnR) -- I can do BTMR.

Thanks!

I get motion sickness fairly easily (hence the 12 hour ride to the folks
north of Atlanta in another thread). On EE, this is triggered by going
downhill backwards in the dark. I discovered that if I sit in the front,
its ALMOST bearable. Much better than when I sat in the middle or back.

I rediscovered the joys of roller coasters this past trip to Disney -
AFTER I took some dramamine!

FYI, I took Dramamine prior to riding EE. Didn't help but then I didn't
expect it to. The backwards part really did me in.

On a side note, I went on Soarin' which my mom and BookBoy loved. I
kept my eyes closed until we got to Disneyland and then opened them for
that. I felt slightly nause I'm pathetic when it comes to motion.
Flying with me is a real treat.

The drive was okay. I really don't mind driving long distances. We
managed to keep to the 3 pre-planned stops each way (it was a miracle
we did it). On the way down we left at 6:58 AM from Greensboro and
pulled into ASMovies around 6:15 PM. On the way back I drove faster. We
left ASMovies at 7:58 AM and got back at 6:23 PM. The stops were about
the same amount of time each way so I managed to shave an hour on the
way home. If I was by myself I could probably have shaved 45 more
minutes off because I would've eaten lunch while driving. I'll find out
next October when I go it alone.

Thanks for your replies! I really want to do EE but don't want to get sick.
I thought I was bad with motion sickness but it looks like some of you have
it worse than me:( I'm okay on Soarin', BTMRR I only go on if I have to but
I just get a tiny bit dizzy, so mostly okay with it, RnR I get dizzy -- I
may try EE and cross my fingers that I'm okay!
