I second that one! Five years ago, in a feeble attempt to show both
Mother and Mother-in-Law our fascination with the place we took BOTH at
the same time--along with the three children we still had living at
home AND my daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren. Four
generations in two connecting off-site villas.
As he almost always does in the presence of the Magic, DH became a
twelve-year-old again and took off with our three teens and two
grandchildren to see how many times they could ride Tower of Terror
simultaneously, leaving me with both mothers. DD and DSinL took off as
if they were on a second honeymoon.
Of course, when they were tired, hot, hungry and cranky, I got the
grandchildren again. They fit in well with the tired, hot and cranky
grandmothers who never did 'get' it.
I've given up on trying to explain our fascination with the place. We
now sneak off to Florida by ourselves without telling anyone but the
dog sitter. DH can be a twelve year old and I can shop while he's doing
the Peter Pan thing. | |

1. I will never EVER again plan a vacation for anyone other than my family;
2. I will never EVER again stay off property.

Well see, Miss Wendi lurker, that wasn't so bad was it? Once you start
posting, it becomes addictive. | |

Ooooh, I like this one. :-)

My gosh, this is so hard. There are a bunch of things I *probably* won't
do again, but never? Hmmm. Ride Indy Speedway in a pouring rain?
Probably not, but maybe. See Country Bear Jamboree? Probably not, but
maybe. Eat at Sommerfest? Probably not, but maybe.
Okay, here are a couple:
I will never, ever again do WDW with a large group and not have a definite
itinerary for each and every day, meal, park, etc.
I will never, ever again order the prime rib sandwich at Riverside Mill.

Hmmmmmm...... This is a hard one. I usually make it a policy to
"never say 'never' ". But I would guess I probably would never go
through the trouble to see the show in Mickey's Toontown Fair and then
wait in line to see Mickey. I only did that once LOOOOoooonnnnnnggggg
ago when it was Mickey's Birthdayland. I know what ever show is in
there now is nothing like what I saw way back then, but the show they
had in there at that time was so bad I've just never wanted to waste
my time again. The other thing I would say I'd never do again was eat
at Rainforest Cafe. My GAWD what an awful meal we had there. Half
cooked chicked breast. How tasty!

(Uh, there hasn't been a show since Toontown Fair, it's just a
walk-through village...
Still a line to see Mickey in the "Judges' Booth", but just your
standard M&G, like the characters at the "County Bounty" store.)

| | Guest | New ?: What will you never, ever do again? 1. I cannot bring myself to sit through Indiana Jones ONE MORE TIME. I sit
outside while my family goes. CHANGE THIS SHOW!!! We've all seen it a
million times!!!
2. I will NEVER go on the Flying Carpets again. I think I'm still sick from
going in circles. (same goes for Tea Cups)

1. I'll never go into a Rainforest Cafe again either. Horrid food, horrid
service, and louder than Chef Mickey's.
2. I'll never ride Space Mountain again. I don't like thrill rides, but
listened to the advice of a friend to "just ride it once. You'll love it."
Noooo!
Now, there are quite a few things I've never done and never will and also a
few that , alas, I've done and will never do again because they're gone!

I will never ride Astro Orbiter again. (ugh)
I think that is the only thing I can truly say I will never do again at
WDW. | |
