Default Southwest did it again!

Ding fares for Albany, NY, to Orlando for September and October -
$44-49 one way. I just got another $40 off our already purchased
tickets. $98 round trip each! With taxes and fees it's still only
$115.20 each.

I'm in Albany. Never got a Ding message and I have flights booked for
10/28 - 11/2. I just checked SW and no $49 flights. What's going on?

You don't get a refund (unless you call, beg, plead, and promise your
first born), but you will get a credit that you can use towards another
ticket purchased within one year of the purchase date of the original
ticket.

As for Ding fares, you can't see them unless you download Ding! from
Southwest and click on their alert when it comes up. They now have a
Mac version, too, that works very well if that makes a difference.
There's usually 1-3 dings a day, and they last only for a few hours.

No, I did it myself. I already had money "on account" so for payment
all I had to do was click the button that says something like "fund on
account" (I can't remember the exact wording). I have done it by phone
too and they are very helpful and willing to walk you through what you
need to do.

I'm sorry, Steve! I don't know why you didn't get ding'd. The
specials are supposed to be through December. Wish I could help you.
