| | Guest | Drop(s) in Expedition Everest Hi all,
I'm sooooo excited! We *might* be going to Disney the end of June, a
trip that we didn't think we'd be taking, but my inner child has made
the reservations at the Polynesian for 4 nights :) and at our favorite
place in St. Augustine.
I very much want to try Expedition Everest, but I don't know about the
drop(s). Is there only 1 big drop? How *big* is it? I can do Splash
Mtn., but have to sit towards the back, and have not problems with
Thunder and RnR. I've watched video clips of EE, and it looks like the
drop is so fast that you wouldn't even notice it...but I just wanted to
check with people who have ridden it.
Thanks for any info!!!

| | Guest | Drop(s) in Expedition Everest I've ridden 2x (1x in February & 1x a couple of weeks ago) -- I don't
notice the drops, it feels more like RnR to me than ToT (to compare
sensations). I don't remember "catching air" during XE. Also, keep in
mind that significant portions of XE are either backwards, in the dark,
or both. I wouldn't call it THE BEST rollercoaster I've ever ridden,
but it's smooth & fun.

| | Guest | Drop(s) in Expedition Everest There isn't any large drops (IMHO) in EE. Splash Mountain feels much
higher and steeper. The backwards part felt intense, but I was able to
ride 11 times in a row without any problem.

| | Guest | Drop(s) in Expedition Everest We're going this June and we too were wondering about EE. I wasn't
worried too much since we've all decided to try it. After reading what
everyone has said it just makes me more excited. Here's a question
though. I know we have to hit EE first thing, but what would everyone
suggest for the second ride? Kilimanjaro Safaris or Kali River Rapids?
We use to hit KS first and then KRR second. With EE running I'm not
sure which one to hit second. Suggestions? | |

What...couldn't handle 12? ;)
I'm excited about this ride now that I don't think it will ruin the
day! Woo Hoo! :) | |

| | Guest | Drop(s) in Expedition Everest The only thing I found intense was going backwards in the dark because
I felt extremely disoriented. Once that was over, it was a piece of
cake!-CL | |
