Hotel Royal Plaza high speed internet

Hi all,
Has any one experienced the high speed internet at the Hotel Royal
Plaza? Is a wireless connection available or should I bring a length of
cat5? Does any one know if there are any fees involved?

You would be better off calling that hotel to ask about broadband ISP
service there. As for an ethernet cable, I just keep a six foot long
ethernet cable tucked away in my computer bag. There really is no reason
not to carry a spare cable with you. I also carry a six foot long
extension cord that I bought at a dollar store and my Airport Express
portable wi-fi base station so I can easily set up a wireless network in
my room. That way, I can send my email postcards while I am lounging in
bed.

I can not answer your question specifically but I would recommend that
you bring a cat 5 cable. This way if there are any problems with
wireless (if they offer it) you do not have to take the time to find a
cable. I would also recommend you take one of a good length. I have been
in some hotels where the outlet was not very handy.
