$5.00 per night extra.
Does this include cats that never leave the RV ?

When I asked the front desk CM a question similar to this, she said
lots of pets (in non-pet loops) live like this....free.
I can't imagine it's a problem if they're never outside.

When you were younger, did you ever sneak someone
in the drive-in theater?

We've thought about the shower, too. We don't use it much because I
don't fit all that well in it. I was just aftraid that the sand might
clog the drain. I love the idea of the door-in-the-floor idea. I've
got to mull that over a bit.

COOL IDEA about the shelves! Yeah our shower is pretty much not used.
When I do use it I have to accept that washing my feet is out of the
question.

Get a rubber floor mat and put it over the drain. Then any "sand" that
escapes will not clog the drain. Any loose particulates can be swept up
before using water to clean the floor. I had a thought. You may want to
check the "rubbermaid" aisle in your local mega store (Walmart, Target,
etc) for shelving. Most of them have various shelving that comes apart
easily. This way if you want to use the shower the entire shelf unit could
be moved out temporarily and then be replaced. And being rubber/plastic
any water that remains or leaks onto the shelving won't hurt. With that
idea in mind you may want to put all the stored items in plastic bins with
lids which would make it easier to move the contents as well as moisture
protection. :)

Excellent suggestions. Thanks.

| | Guest | Fort Wilderness I was looking at the pictures on Deb's site of the showers at the comfort
stations.
Is there only one shower per comfort station ?
It looks like it in the pictures.
We would like a full hookup which are at loops 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 700
and 1400.
There is 1 comfort station between loop 100 and 200.
One for loop 300.
One for loop 400, 500 and 700.
One for loop 1400.
We have the shower in our RV, converted to a cat litter box, so we need
access to showers.
Any suggestions on which would be best for using the shower ?

Any full hook up loop has lighter comfort station use than the
partials, because not all RV owners keep a cat box in their showers.
There are about half a dozen showers in each, and you would be wise to
avoid the early morning rush. Loops 100 and 200 have some of the most
massive trailers I have ever seen continually parked in them, and I
doubt most of these folks ever enter the public bathrooms.
