Sigh, on the solstice (which is our 25th anniversary), it will get
dark around 7pm where we will be. Progresso Mexico, on the north
coast of the Yucatan pennisula.

As were Texas schools. Most school districts were out on the 25th,
with graduation Memorial Day weekend. Of course, they start in mid
August. There was a bill in the legislature to start the Tuesday
after Labor Day, but it died in committee.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

That's because in our day, they didn't have to also teach us computer stuff.
Face it, we're old. ;)

But seriously, the before-or-after Labor Day debate has really been an issue
here, where tourism is the 2nd leading industry. It really hits our tourism
businesses hard to have families (and high school employees) back in school
before the big end-of-summer holiday. Aggravating, really.
