Cancun next week??

We're booked with Carnival to depart from Mobile Monday ( Aug.28 ) for a
cruise to Cozemel and Cancun. Tropical storm Ernesto's looking more and
more like a threat. Any comments on what we should expect? How rare are
entire cruise cancellations? Any last minute alternative destinations
offered ,, etc? Thanks for any advice.

My guess is that they'll be doing an eastern Caribbean cruise instead- which
isn't all that bad.

A 5 day cruise out of Mobile, it would more likely be Key West and
Nassau or Freeport.

It will not be KEY WEST they are advising all touris's to leave key
west,and any that have plans to go there within the next few days,cancel
out

Not sure about the other lines but RCCL had changed away from Cozumel.
But with the new track, Cozumel, Belize, etc are back on. (so they
posted on their site).

I head out on an Eastern in the morning... Will sure beat being home
in South Florida with no where to run! The ship will steer clear of the
troubled waters.
