M V Rotterdam

Has anyone had any recent experience sailing on the Rotterdam.

I'm assumeing you mean the Holland American MS Rotterdam - we did the
ancient splendors - eastern Med cruise this spring. Our third cruise on
Rotterdam. Others were Baltic and Southern Carrib. As you might guess we
like the ship. They've just recently done some significant mods - larger
dance floor in Crow' Nest, added internet Cafe and other upgrades. We tend
to like this size ship and are booked for Veendam next year - slightly
smaller - we would have again gone with Rotterdam except the specific cruise
we wanted Copenhagen to NY was Veendam only. Hopes for the future include
Rotterdam around South America. What specific questions do you have?

If I may be so bold as to hijack someone ele's thread, I'm about to
embark on exactly the same cruise in a couple of weeks.

Do you have ny comments about this cruise ....any particular things
one should know? We have been planning it for the last yer and it's
almost upon us .. and you're the first person we've encountered who
has actually taken this particualr cruise!
