Default Carnival Cruise Lines Rolls Out New Past Guest Loyalty Program

Yea! Finally! As a Platinum member I might finally get some benefits!
Funny thing is that while we have been on 17/18? CCL cruises and always
together, my wife only had a "Gold" card last cruise! <LOL> She was NOT
amused.
Jim, I qualify too, but wouldn't it be nice if they substituted the logo
item and personalized stationary (who writes letters on a cruise?..Celebrity
does this too) for the free internet that we get on Princess?

The complimentary wash and fold laundry service will be great though,
especially on 10+ day cruises!

In today's Laserjet printer world the "personalized stationary" is nothing...

Oh yeah! I like the way you think! I really don't hit the Internet while
onboard and simply write a travel-log for later but the free laundry! I
could go for that! I know of one gent who packs only one or two days
clothing for the cruise. The rest he puts in a duffle bag as dirty clothes
and has the ship clean and press them. That way he has clean and neat
clothing for the entire cruise and does not have to worry about packing
properly!

That's a sad thing, imho. I still think a nice hand-written note (like
a note of thanks) has much greater impact than something printed on a
Laserjet or (horrors!) emailed. I have personalized notecards, and love
having the opportunity to send them out, the old fashioned way.

I'll never achieve platinum status on Carnival, but if I did ever enjoy
the cruise perk of personalized stationery, I'd probably just take it
with me, when the cruise ended, and use it for fun snailmail notes to
friends/family that also enjoy cruising.
