Default Any info or comments on NCL Spirit 6 night cruise out of NYC

My wife and I just booked a 6 night cruise on the NCL Spirit out of NYC. It
visits Cape Canaveral, Nassau and Stirrup Cay. Does anyone have any info or
recommendations about this ship or excursions to take at the ports it visits?
This will be our first cruise. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob

We've done a similar cruise on the Dawn ... and did Alaska on the
Spirit ...

We had an overnight in Nassau ... which allowed nighttime at Paradise
Island after a day at the beach ... and still time in the AM for
souvineer shopping ... Port Canaveral allows you to rent a car and
drive the hour or so to Orlando for Disney or Universal ... Or visit
NASA ... Stirrup Cay is just a beach day ... which often winds up being
a day at sea if the winds are up ... making tendering risky ...

The Spirit is a nice ship ... Nice views from the Observation Deck ...
my wife caught sight of many whales from there ... of course than was
Alaksa ... Plenty of room in the common areas so you won't seem crowded
walking about ... We love the freestyle concept for a relaxing vacation
and the Spirit handles that very well ...

any questions ... feel free to ask ...
