| | Guest | Celebrity Cruises: Infinity - Do They Provide Bathrobes? I know I'm asking quite a few questions like a cruise newbie.
But, I have never cruised on Celebrity.
I'm at the last minute packing stage of deciding "Do I need this?"
Bathrobes are heavy and bulky.
Does Celebrity provide bathrobes in the ordinary outside cabins on
the Infinity? Do passengers wear them as cover-ups when they go to
the pool or do they only wear them in their cabins?
I appreciate all the help everybody is giving me. | |

I am not sure, but they did in the CC cabins. I saw a couple of people
wearing their robes to the pool, but IMO they should only be worn in
your cabin or on your balcony if you have one.
Kevin and I both have very light weight robes for the summer and for
traveling. This time of year you should be able to find one in the
stores.

Celebrity provides bathrobes in every cabin. No, passengers don't
normaly wear them as cover-ups when they go to the pool except
sometimes you see one or two doing that. Celebrity also provides
towels at the pool.

Celebrity is a mass market cruise line with many upscale touches.
Padded chairs on the pool deck. Free sorbet brought out once a day on
th pool deck. Shower cap, cotton balls and q tips in the bathroom.
Robes in every cabin. They escort you to your cabin when you board.
Free champaigne when you first board at the ship end of the gangeway.
Cool towels when returning to the ship from port. Very few
announcements on the PA. Usually just a noon progress report. Food is
french style. Definitly do their alternative restaurant at least once.

They don't escort you to your cabin if you arrive to early. I agree
about doing the S.S.UnitedStates restaurant. We didn't do it and are
looking for another Infinity sailing, so we can dine there.

That is true about arriving early, usually before 1:00. The escorts are
usually cabin stewards and they are still cleaning the cabins from the
last sailing.

1PM makes sense since that is when the cabins are supposed to be
ready. I would rather arrive early and not have an escort.lol

I thought $30 extra for dinner was too much on a cruise ship. But,
since two people recommended it, I will try the S.S. United
States Restaurant. | |
