Never been to the Pirates Museam, tough I've heard good things about it.
Assuming you are on DIS, you probably have kids with you? Unless it is a
cool day, I would bypass the straw market or maybe take one row of it.
Aggresive vendors all crammed in a small, hot, humid area, selling the same
stuff. Once (& this was after many visits there) we took a city tour and
enjoyed it as well. | |

| | Guest | Disney Cruise Line -- Nassau I would suggest going to the best restaurant in Nassau, The Poop Deck on
East Bay street.
It's where the locals go. And me too for over 20 years.
Also DO NOT get a taxi when you first get ouside the port complex. They
will jam you in and rip you off.
Walk I block over to the first stoplight and find a cab. You will get
one just for you and your party and pay a fair price.
Pirates is a waste of time. Go to Atlantis or the Crystal Palace Casino
instead. | |

Sorry that I'm a bit late answering this quiry. I took my two 10 year
old grandsons to the Pirate Museum and they loved it. It gave lots of
history of Pirates in the Caribbean. Would I spend the money for a
second visit? No. One time is enough and I'm sure that they wouldn't
want to go again. They feel that since they saw it once they don't
have to go back. As for the straw market---it was different in
merchandise and nice to see once but unless I had to pick up something
special, on a future trip, I wouldn't waist my time. At least I can
now say "Been there, done that."

I'm not sure this is true anymore. At any rate, I know people do go
to the Bahamas in private boats with pets.

If Heidi is chipped and has proof of current shots, she can now enter
the UK. Don't see why the Bahamas would be any different. You may
want to check on it. I have a friend who recently showed two dogs at
Crufts with no hassles or quarantine.
