St. Petersburg Russia Visa Requirements

We are also doing this cruise at that time. If you do an excursion with
your cruise line, or a with local tour operation such as Red October, they
take care of visa requirements for the group, so you do not need to obtain a
personal visa. The answer is, yes, a visa is required.

We visitied St Peterburg for two days this summer. We took only Holland
American tours and they had a blanket visa all we needed was a passport. To
go on your own you needed your own visa. One member of this group commented
that the Visa forms asked questions he didn't have to answer on a Security
Clearance form. We also like to stay with the cruise line tours in general -
they get you back to the ship on time - or in one case the ship waited for
their tours to return - bad Traffic 0n Isle De Magurita (spelling???)

I had gone to St.Petersburg, I got a VISA from the Russian Embassy in
washington.Free, I walked all over the town ,met people had a very enjoyable
time More in fo write. frank
