We were on it's sister ships Wind about 6 years ago. I wouldn't go on it
again.

I remember you saying that, Erm..Now that she is sailing out of Houston, we
are considering her for the end of December as we last cruised in July and
we're getting withdrawal pangs!! ;-) We shall see! Other choices we have
are Grand Princess and Carnival Conquest, and Elation at that time.

| | Guest | Norwegian Dream ? It was tired looking even back then. Nowhere near as well cared for as even
the Zenith... The only NCL ship I've been impressed with enough to really
want to go on again was Norwegian Dawn.
I'd put Wind on par with Majesty/MonarchOTS.

I'd pick another port.
Didn't like Wind. Didn't like Grand Princess. And no way Carnival.
I guess I might do Dream if I didn't have to fly. But begrudgingly.

| | Guest | Norwegian Dream ? Jean: We sailed around South America on the Norwegian
Dearm several years ago and found it a very comfortable
ship.
but now I see you are also considering the Grand Princess
and if it is in any way similar to the Golden Princess which
I sailed on this year, that would be my choice (depending on
the itinerary of course) This ship was just spectacular in
every way even though it was too big - the food and the
service were beyond compare - Whatever you decide I wish
you good sailing and especially good health.

That is not an option, Tom..We sail out of Houston or Galveston because we
can drive there the same day in less than three hours.

Rosaly,
The men in my life have chosen the Dream, if we go, because of the
itinerary...more scuba ports! ;-) I'm glad that you liked the Dream..it
seems you and Erm are in agreement about her.
We have taken the Golden and the Star Princess, so we are familiar with them
and loved them both..
Thank you for your kind words and wishes...I'll let you know if we are able
to go!

Thank you, I will take that into consideration before I book.
