Default Are Galapagos Shore Excursions Strenuous

Wife an I are in our 70's and in good health. Are there various degrees of
difficulty in the shore excursions. We will be on the Celebrity Xpedition.

I'm not intimately familiar with the excursions offered on your cruise,
but I know that when I've browsed excursions either online or in the
brochures, the cruiselines have been pretty good at indicating the
activity level for each tour, using various symbols, with a description
of the symbols either being a click away or in the front page or two of
the excursion brochure.

Just a hunch, but I'm betting that many of the passengers on the ship
will be of your generation and fitness level. I'm sure you'll be able
to find suitable tours.

Lee

We were on the Eclipse, a much smaller ship, and they
offered two or three options at each landing with varying
difficulties. I'm certain they will on Celebrity.

We went with A & K and the people in the 70's had a hard time. There are
very few places with even surface. Most walking is over lava; very uneven.
One island you get out of your panga and climb up very steep steps. Then
there is the temperature to consider. It can get really hot! You have to
stay with your group.
