Grand Turk ??

Hi dose anybody know is cruise ships vists to Grand turk began yet ? I
red where they have builded a ne cruise ship pier there ? Also has
anybody been there ?

Not yet, Ken..but we are going there on the new Crown Princess on August
25th as a group..SGC2006...It will go there as well as Bermuda, leaving the
Red Hook pier..why don't you come with us? If you have never been on a group
cruise, they are lots of fun..Tom K.and Charles may be joining us on this
one as well!

I also understand that Carnival is having ships going to Grand Turk and
Caicos next year too; so that destination may be come a popular one with a
new cruise ship pier.

Jean, I think Ken is booked on the Crown Princess for a sailing before
ours. I hope he will write a review long before our cruise.

Hi yes we are booked on the July 2nd cruise .really looking forward to
it .I think HAL will be stopping at Grand Truk first . But saw some of
it on TV on the Tavel Chan. last week ,looks like a great island !!

We don't get the Travel Channel down in South Jersey(pout). Have you
looked on cruise critic to see what information they have? I haven't
even done any research for our Feb. cruise yet.

The SGC2006 is the "summer group cruise 2006". It is a group cruise
made up of people here on RTC and anyone else who wishes to join us.
We will be sailing Aug. 25, 2006 on the Crown Princess, which will be
a brand new ship. It will be sailing out of Red Hook, Brooklyn, New
York. That is assuming the new terminal is ready in time. Below is the
itin and the TA contact information if you are interested in joining
us. We do not have a website set up yet.

As Sue has posted, the Crown Princess is a new ship and the Summer Group
Cruise is made up of rtc members, friends and sometimes families, getting
and cruising together...We do some things together as a group and others on
our own..it is strictly your preference..you don't even have to do any of
the things with the group, if you wish, but just take advantage of the very
good group prices and amenities....Cal Ford is the T/A handling this group
this year and if you wish to join us, which I hope that you do, you need to
call his 800 number for more information..He is a very personable person
with whom it is very easy to talk.

Caribbean Princess, if you need to see the deck plans to help you decide
