| | Guest | Mariner of the Seas Review Part 2 Thanks for sharing your Mariner cruise review with us, Mike. It brought back
good memories--we were on her a couple of years ago.
I'm with you, my Perfect Cruise is heavy on the RCI, Carnival and Princess,
with a touch of Celebrity.

Thanks for sharing your cruise review with us, Mike, I enjoyed reading it.
When I cruise on RCI, I enjoy the ships, but you are right about the
food. I have cruised on RCI 6 times and their lunch buffets are not the
best. Their breakfast buffets are very good and their dining room food
is not bad. They have some unique salad dressings and some of their
desserts were very good, although I have been skipping desserts on my
past few cruises.
Carnival's food has spoiled me. I tend to compare every cruise line's
food to theirs.

Thanks for you review, Mike..we very much agree with you about the food on
RCL..I wonder how long it will take them to remedy it as their ships are so
beautiful otherwise. Carnival seems to be taking first place in the food
department anymore!

It is getting that way more and more on most of the cruise lines. The more
slovenly that you look, the better it seems! Yuck!

LOL! Don't you know that is the *style * now!! Ridiculous...we didn't wear
jeans when I was in school, but if pants were in that condtion then, they
would have been in the rag bag long before they got that way! And people pay
dearly for them in that condition now, too!
Glad that you had a nice cruise despite the food.
Interesting review!

It may be the style but she was definitely not stylish! I think if people
are going to dress like that, maybe we should have a cruise ship with long
picnic tables and paper on the tables. Maybe jars with crayons as well. Why
waste the expense of the beautiful dining room. While were at it, maybe
brown paper bags to hand out the food too!

That is the small extension Sr. Frogs at the Carnival pier. The main
Sr. Frogs and Carlos and Charlies at the Langosta pier suffered less
damage and could be open in a month or two.
I went downtown after Paradise Beach (Tom went back to the ship). Many
of the stores are up and running downtown. A lot of work has been done
there and is being done there. It does not look bad there, a lot of
damage was to second floors.
Got to run...maybe more later
