| | Guest | Aruba, The Facade It appears that the investigation being conducted in Aruba is nothing
but a Facade. All evidence that could be used would have deteriorated
and or disposed of at this point. All the activity that is going on
could be classified as a dazzle in dumbness or baffle of bull . And
is intended to give the appearance that an actual investigation or hunt
for clues are in progress. The most critical thing at stake here is to
make the tourist trade decline to be minimal. Any factual evidence that
may be found will be met with as much resistance as was all other
possible critical discoveries. It appears that the only justice involved
in Aruba is what will benefit them and no one else.

That would be sheer stupidity. It won't happen though. There won't be
any sanctions like that against Aruba or Holland. The Netherlands is a
western industrial country, it is part of the European Union, using the
Euro. Get a grip, it is a missing person, not something countries go to
war over.

This is yet another indication that we should go to a
part-time Congress. They obviously have WAY too much free time.

Texas has a part-time legislature. Not much benefit in that.
"No man's life, liberty or property is safe while the Texas
legislature is in session".

I did some searches and could not find any indication that any bill has
been introduced in Congress to sanction Aruba or the Netherlands.
Without evidence to the contrary-- William appears to be engaging in
wishfull thinking.

I thought I heard a politician on CNN comment about actions about Aruba.
This coupled with what another politician said to me personally lead me
to believe it was true, but just in the formal preparations.Of course we
always believe a politician, ;-) After watching the review of the case
on Fox News, I would not doubt it will happen for sure.

Fox News and Greta Van Susteren are milking the story for ratings.
Congress is not going to make any sanctions over this case.

The US can't put any "sanctions" on the Netherlands without the whole
EU coming down on us.
It's just so much hot air. He's comparing a single criminal case with
the overthrow of a corrupt facist government by a corrupt communist
rebel.

Hec CNN and pretty much every one else is milking this for rating.
