Default Alaska Inside Passage

Want to do a seven day turnaround Alaska cruise in August that includes
Hubbard Glacier or Glacier Bay. Am looking for input as to what Cruise Line
and Ships you would recommend.

Took an inside passage cruise a couple of years ago on the Holland America
Line. Did Glacier Bay and several other ports. Had a wonderful time! A
little older passenger group, however; so if you're looking for a lot of
night life....not too much.

I personally prefer the smaller HAL ships to Alaska. They seem to get
closer to everything. These would be the Veendam ,
Statendam,Ryndam......and then the slightly larger Volendam and
Zaandam.

Check out their website for the specific itineraries.

I am going on the Veendam northbound September 11th.

We just got home yesterday from a 7 day inside passage cruise with HAL on
the Ryndam that included Glacier Bay. It was fantastic. The scenery was
outstanding, the service could not have been better, the ship was beautiful,
food was great, entertainment was good. The Kenai Fjords cruise in Seward
is something you should not miss if you can fit that in, even better scenery
and up close viewing than from the cruise ship and lots of wildlife.

That has been my experience in Alaska with HAL also. Highly reccommend
the Kenai Fjords cruise
