Default Stingray city , grand caymans

I am going on a carnival cruise in august and will be in grand cayman
from 7am till 2pm one day. will there be time for my daughter and i to
take advantage of stingray city?
i would like to buy the tickets on the net as it is probably cheaper.

With that tight a schedule, take the ship excursion.

The independent vendors like Captain Marvin do not charge if the Cayman
is cancelled. That is because it is very common any time of the year
that the water can be too rough for tendering. That said I agree with
the others that the port time of 7 to 2 is too short for an independent
excursion to Stingray City because there is a risk of missing the ship
departure.
