St. Maarten

Hi everyone.
A friend asked for input on Eastern Caribbean ports. I've been to all
the ports she mentioned except for St. Maarten. Can any of you comment
on shore excursions you particularly liked on St. Maarten?

I really like Pinel Island. It's like a mini private island on the French
Side.

main drag.

HAL and RCL offer an "art tour". They take a small bus with about
20-25 people and stop at the homes, studios or galleries of four or
five local island artists. You get to see parts of the island that the
average tourist never has access to, and you can pick up some neat
artwork direct fro the artist.

I agree with Tom, Last weekend a bunch of us were sitting around the
Campfire and saying wouldn't it be nice to be back at Pinel? we
all giggled and talked about our great time there.... Thanks Tom for
taking us! OK so what do you have good for Grand Cayman or Jamaica!
hahaha actually I am going to "Beaches" with a day pass to see someone
get married.... sigh...
