Cruise ports of call info

Is there a site (couldn't find one searching) that lists information
like the following for world-wide cruise ports? If not, I would like
to start one. As those that have cruised before know, the ship's
excursions can be expensive and limiting and I prefer to make my own
arrangements.


1) How far from dock to main attractions
2) Availablility of transportation from dock/port (taxis, buses,
trains, etc.)
3) Tour operators in vicinity of port
4) Main attractions in port possibly with ratings (have wasted many
days on overrated "must-see" attractions)


I have done most of my cruises in Europe and South America and would
have found this information invaluable- especially in deciding whether
to do the ships excursions.

Interesting that they provide alternatives. I have to say on Norwegian
and Celebrity they seem to go out of their way to get you to buy their
excursions. Celebrity does have excursion information online, but that
is about it other than a brief description of the city.
