St Martin: Pinzagauer and 4x4 Jeep Tour?

Hi. We are going to St.Martin for the first time in Feb. I would love to do
a tour that combines exploration of this picturescque and culturally diverse
island, with some time spent at the beaches.



There are two tours our cruiseship (carnival) offers that seem to fit the
bill: the Mild&Wild Pinzagauer Tour (6.5hrs, 9am-3:30) and the 4x4 jeep
safari (4hrs, 7:45-11:45am).



It looks like they both take a similar route, starting in Philisburg, going
northwest thru Simpson bay up to Marigot, then Orient Bay then back down.
They are both the same price.



Apparently the jeep stops 1.5hrs at Orient. Does any know which beaches and
how long the pinzagauer stops? Any comments on either tour? Can find hardly
any info on the net.
