Default Just back from Millennium!

Just got back and had a wonderful time. The service on this ship was
incredible. Parking in Ft Lauderdale is horrible and I might not take
any future cruises from here due to this, getting out of there when we
returned was even worse, it would only take a bit of common sense to
fix most of the problems with the traffic but im sure it will stay the
way it is since it hasnt been fixed. I will stick to Canaveral and
Miami from now on!

Check in was easy and fast. We boarded our ship, had a glass of bubbly
and was escorted to our cabin, 3017 and 3019. We had outside cabins
which I was glad we had picked after seeing the inside ones. I like
the inside of the cabins on the Voyager class ships only because they
face the promanade. The cabins were nice, had plenty of room and a
nice big shower with room for two.

I sail Disney all the time, and this ship seemed just a bit larger.
Shows were ok, nothing exciting. Casino was TINY so I didnt spend much
time in there.

Food was great in the main rest. but breakfast buffet like on most
ships was so bad I couldnt eat so I stuck to the main seating down
stairs. We tried the upscale rest. for the extra $30 but never again,
food was not that great and I had to go eat upstairs after we left due
to the baby portions, and no I am not huge. It was a nice experience
though, but again, will stick to the main rest.

Room service was great on this ship, had a few nice items that I tried
several times.

Spa was set up very strangly, I like to have a private moment when I am
at the spa, this spa shared the locker room with the outside pool which
to me was just tacky always having everyone coming in to use the
bathroom when you are trying to relax. The spa seems to be too open
and not set back private like most, so I didnt end up using any of the
services.

The spa pool and hot tubs were great, just were not open late in the
evening which is when we all wanted to use them. The area is adult
only, but of course you had the stupid idiots who thing its still ok to
bring the BABY in diapers into the pool and hot tubs, GROSS. First
off, its not good the baby, its nasty for all of us in the water, and
3rd the HUGE sign says NO ONE under 18 allowed. I hate when parents
dont understand this. I went 3 times and had the same family thrown
out each time they came into the pool, everyone else thanked me. Why
you would bring an infant on a cruise is strange to me.

After crusing the Voyager class ships, this one seemed small so I dont
know if I will cruise again on this size ship, we are doing Mariner in
Sept.

Ports:

Casa De Campo- HORRIBLE and gross and a waste of time, stay on the
ship!!

San Juan- We knew people there so they took us around the town. Old
San Juan is great for shopping. We ended up buying the booze in the
terminal, it was the cheapest we had found any place else.

St Thomas- Went to St John Island and to Trunk Bay. Incredible and
worth the trip just for the time we had here. Cost about $60 for two
of us to go on our own so its much cheaper then the ship tour and you
are not rushed. We took a taxi to the other side of the island and
then a ferrie to st john and a taxi to the bay, coming back you take a
ferrie to the main port near the ships and walk back.

Nassue- I used to work on the big red boat so I was here twice a week,
nothing is that changed. We took a tour to black beards island, was
tiny bad for diving and nothing much on the island, waste of time.
Next time we will do blue lagoon, its so pretty there.

Overall had a great time, would not do this ship again, but loved the
service we had.

Any ?s email me.

We haven't cruised on the Millie Class yet, but one of the main attractions is
the Adults Only spa area. Is there not a way for an employee to be stationed
at the entrance to the spa area to ensure that anyone under 18 is not admitted
to the spa area?

I expect that area to be adults only and would not tolerate children, let alone
babies, in that spa area.
