Default liquor on ship

Can you still buy liquor before you board the ship? Celebrity Cruises used
to have Liquor at the dock before you boarded that you could buy. Right
before you sailed you could come back down to the dock to pick up your
liquor and have it for the cruise. This was about 3 or 4 years ago, so I'm
not sure if they still do that. Would anyone know about that?
Thanks,
Judy

As I have posted previously, we sailed Transatlantic on Constellation
9/7-9/20 & we learned a very unique way of buying booze at the duty
free/tax free store aboard. Just bring the tote bag in your closet
down & they put the bottle in it & you walk out. We did see a guy
carry is box out also, but not sure how.

We have sailed a number of time ex San Juan. As you board (at least
at the downtown port) you pass a number of duty free liquor stores.
There is a well displayed sign advising that it is illegal for the
ship to confiscate your personal booze in Puerto Rico. Must be a
local law - and a good one IMO. JOHN
