You need to look over the shore excursion list and narrow down your interests.
There are just too many excellent tours to recommend. I never book ship
excursions myself and it is very easy to book direct in Alaska. BUT have plans
and reservations in place BEFORE you leave. Time is too short to wait and
decide when in port- also very little selection will be left. Budget fully-
top choices are glacier helicopter landings and glacier dog sledding.
Hi. I'm a first time Cruiser. I had expected it to be "special" and it
WAS. Magical is the key word. There were 5 family members. We were on
the Dawn Princess and enjoyed every minute of it. We had good weather
and were treated wonderfully. I'm afraid we are "hooked".
You sailed on a very nice ship, was on the DAWN PRINCESS twice, and each
one was great, but your first cruise is always the very best.so now you
are hooked like we are, going on our 43rd.
