Thanks for your review, Samiel, you did very well.
Was this by chance, your first cruise? I wondered because you made no
mention of the activities on board and I am under the impression that you
are both young and would have at least enjoyed using the pool. Did you read
the Carnival Capers each night and and check what else was available for you
to see and do? Were your tablemates around your age? Often you meet others
on a cruise that you automatically "click" with and do things together. I
think the suggestion that you go with another couple next time, might make
it more fun for you. Cruising is so wonderful that I would hate for you to
give up on it because you felt bored.

Though cruising is wonderful for many people, cruising isn't for everyone.
Some people are shy, and being thrown into meeting new people just
isn't all that thrilling. Some don't like hanging out in the sun, drinking,
and watching pool games. I know I find the action around the tiny
ship pools less than engrossing, and I prefer eating dinner with folks
I already know. I only like cruises that stop in a port everyday. I
find sea day excruitiatingly dull, and despite the size of the ships makes
me feel trapped. I think Samiel tried cruising with the best of intentions,
but why throw more money into cruising when he has figured out
it's not his cup of tea? | |
