You made a mistake and bid the wrong area. Embassy Suites is in the Ft.
Lauderdale Downtown area.

Yup we stayed their on 1/24 for a pre cruise stay, it was lousy. Because
you used priceline they will not recognize their adwards program "Wyndham by
Request"

Their normal check in time is 3, that is fine but in all our other stays in
FLL we have been able to check in early,we arrived at 1100 and there were
others, they said come back at 1 then 130 then 2 then finally it was 315.
The bathrooms on the lower floor were some of the dirtiest we have ever
encountered. Once in our room, it was clean but not one of the cleanest.

For the price it was ok, but we had stayed at the sheraton last year, same
time frame and it was exceptional

We will not bid on airport locations again.

We were not the only ones disgusted with their customer service etc

Regards

PEte

I bid on Priceline for a 3 star hotel in the Fort Lauderdale Airport
area hoping to get Embassy Suites. To my surprise I got the Wyndham
Hotel which was not even listed on Bidding for Travel as an available 3
star hotel.

Has anyone had experience at the Wyndham?

Brian,

My firstborn is 49. What do you think I can get for him?

Ditto on the Priceline discrimination...they make it very clear at the desk
that normal "Wyndham By Choice" benefits do not apply.

Hotel (formerly Hilton) was adequate for a pre-cruise overnight, but showing
a lot of wear. Taking a cab to port is about as cheap as taking their
shuttle for two persons.

This may not always be the case (although it is clearly stated on Priceline).
We stayed at the Wyndham in Boston last year (booked through Priceline), and I
was able to successfully add my Wyndham By Request number to the reservation
(online on the Wyndham site).
