| | Guest | Atlantis casino We are headed to the Bahamas on RCCL and I have some questions about
Atlantis.
My husband and I would like to go to the casino and we're trying to find
out what is
available there for a 16 year old girl. I'm assuming she won't be
allowed in the casino.
Is it possible for her to use a beach area close by? Is this only
possible thru an excursion?
Can she pay to use the pool? Are there any other things nearby that
she could do?
What is the best way to get to the casino?
Thanks | |

| | Guest | Atlantis casino I think the best way to get to Atlantis from the dock area is to take the
ferry which leaves on a regular basis throughout the day. I don't believe
that your 16 year old will be stopped for entering the casino. As you might
surmise, the casino is located on a well-traveled path between two areas of
the resort. She will have a much harder time, however, trying to get into
the pool area of the hotel. There are tours of parts of the hotel complex.
Possibly she can take one of these while you try your luck at the casino.

| | Guest | Atlantis casino Atlantis does not allow outsiders to use it's facilities. You can go
to the public areas with no problems: restaurants, shops, casino,
etc. You can take a tour for $25. You can register for one night at
Comfort Suites and get all of the amentities of Atlantis, including
pools and slides. Just check in and get your wristbands.
I've heard that the beach is public. But, your daughter would not be
allowed to use the chairs, nor would she be able to get into Atlantis
to used the facilities if she needed to, nor to contact you if you
were inside.

| | Guest | Atlantis casino Have family memeber who just returned from Nor. Dawn. To use the
facilities at Atlantis they had to purchase a Day Room. Cost...$245 for
the day. This gave them access to the pool and beach. Otherwise the
pool and beach are off limits to outsiders. Yes you can take the tour
of The Dig and use the common areas (rest., casino, bars) anything that
generates money for the resort. But other than a day room they do not
sell pool and beach passes....maybe they should. Its such a huge
resort. | |

Berthing at the wonderful marina allows full use of the numerous percs at
Atlantis as well. Atlantis also owns the old Howard Hughes Casino (now the
towers). | |

I don't think RCCL will be allow them to pack a boat to berth at the
marina.

Maybe they are trying to keep the pool and beach uncrowded for resort
guests. Has anyone actually stayed there? Are the rooms nice? Is the
service good? Seems large enough to keep kids busy for a week.

| | Guest | Atlantis casino You can use the casino. but does the phrase "tighter than the skin on a weanie"
mean anything to you?
I know what I speak of. Others can chime in if they agree or disagree...

| | Guest | Atlantis casino I would not spend my time in port at a casino when the cruise ship has
one.
