Does anyone has any experience with the disney-cruise ship?
December this year we'll be married 25 years and we would like to take our
granddaughters (8 and 11) on a disneycruise somewhere beginning of
december.
I will be very happy with any information you can give me.

Took a friend and her 7 year old daughter on the Disney cruise 5 years
ago. I would highly recommend it. We combined 3 days at Disney World
with the 4 day cruise to the Bahamas and it was a wonderful vacation.
I understand that they now have longer cruises. Be glad to answer any
specific questions or maybe someone on here has some more recent
info..

Jim

Just got off the Disney Magic on the 10th of January after a 7 night Western
Caribbean. Good time with myself and 6 others including 11 & 6 yo. Did the
Wonder 3 day in Feb 03 & the 4 day Wonder in Apr 02. Recommend them for
people who like Disney. Note that there is no casino on either of the
Disney ships but all other amenities are present as on other cruise ships.
The 3/4 day land/sea package is quite enjoyable, especially when you throw
in the transfers from Orlando to the ship & back. It's really worth
considering.

Also go to the DIS boards that Sue & Kevin Mullen marked on their second
post.

My family did the Disney Cruise 2 years ago and had a Total blast. The
kids absolutely loved it, and we are currently planning our next
family outing on the Disney Magic. I'm not sure who had more fun, Us
or the kids.

My wife and I (with 3- 6- and 12-year olds in tow) took the 1/11/04
cruise on the Wonder and had a great time.

There's plenty to do for both the 8 and 11 year olds..especially in the
Oceaneer's Club (which is open til midnight).

For your anniversary, don't forget to trest yourselves to a dinner at
Palo -- Disney's private restaurant on the 10th deck. Reservations are
required and it's for adults only. They charge $10.00 per person. My
wife and I easily had a $100 dinner and were highly impressed with the
food and service.

We found there isn't a whole lot to do on Nassau so we took advantage
of the boat. While most people were off the boat touring the island we
found that the ship's decks/pools/etc were deserted (except for Disney
employees who were eager to serve).

Any questions? E-mail me. The cruise is still fresh on my mind.

I have been looking into a Disney cruise.....not ready yet - kids are 2 and
4. But what would be cool is a land and sea package....a few nights sailing
and a few in the resorts. :)
