Default Western Carribean - what to do?

My wife and I will be taking a cruise on the RCCL Radiance of the Seas
on Jan 11th to the western carribean.

Depart from Ft. Lauderdale and go to;

Key West
Cozumel
Rotaan
Grand Cayman

I'm recently certified for scuba diving and like snorkeling as well.
My wife would like to do some shopping and we both like beaches. ( I
don't think we would be very interested in places like the Tulum Mayan
ruins.)

What would people recommend?

Where should I go scuba diving? ( I plan to do it with the cruise ship
for the sake of avoiding scheduling problems.)

Where are the best beaches for these day stops?

Where is the best shopping?

Thanks in advance for any help with these questions, and is anyone
else from this group going on the same cruise Jan 11th?

Cozumel is probably the best of these ports for diving and snorkeling,
and usually Coz is a long enough stop so that you can easily do a dive
on your own. Grand Cayman is a snorkeler's paradise.

If you go to the beach at Grand Cayman, avoid the Beach Club; most any
other place on 7 Mile Beach will do and is cheap to get to.

I like the beach at Mr. Sancho's in Cozumel, but there MANY wonderful
beach spots in Cozumel.

I would say Coz is also your best bet for shopping - silver jewelry,
Mexican crafts, lots of colorful stuff available at good prices.

We've cruised on a couple of Radiance sister-ships, so I can tell you
with assurance you've picked a winner!

The top beach and snorkle/dive are is Cayman. Plan carefully there and make
good use of your time. For great beach access, I like the cemetery, easy cab
ride away.

Key West - Best to go to some trendy restaurant on the shore for lunch and then
roam around ...
Cozumel - Take a tour of one of the ruins ...Even if you don't think you'd like
it ... it is very informative ... Although snorkeling would also be great
also...
Roatan - jungle tour ... or ruins ... or diving ... maybe the best diving ...
The island is poor but beatiful ...
Grand Cayman - Sting Ray City is a must ... Capt. Marvin seems to have the best
tours ...

I'd do sightseeing in Key West ... Mayan Ruins in Cozumel ... a jungle tour in
Roatan ... and Capt. Marvin in Grand Cayman ...to make my cruise as varied as
possible ...

Be seeing you

Thanks for the recommendations folks. It gives me a good starting
point for my planning my trip, which is coming up soon! Looking at the
2 feet of snow out my window here in the suburbs of Boston is getting
me real motivated!
