Default snorkel gear question

I'm planning on bringing my own snorkel and mask. Can I rent just the
flippers or should I bring those too?

Many places rent fins for a lower price than the full set of gear.
However... many places ALSO require you to wear a floatation vest. If you
don't bring one of those, you may need to rent the whole set of gear, even
if you have your own mask and snorkel.

Thanks. that's not a problem - I'm bringing my own snorkel and mask
for hygienic purposes, not to save money.

I was worried that a senior citizen would leave polygrip on the
snorkel.
