Need a recommendation for the Vikings this year...

Which is better in Grand Cayman, Rum Point Beach or 7 Mile Beach?

SO... who wants to be a Viking? : )

Definitely Rum Point for a day. It's a very nice beach. Just watch out
for the little spotted rays that bury in the sand in the shallow water -
Yikes! We were lucky enough not to come across any of these. But, in
the future, we'll remember to bring and wear our "amphibious footwear"
as a precaution.

I hear ya Just the thought has me rethinking Rum Point. I did read
some reviews on Trip advisor and some said it was very touristy and
nickle and diming BUT ya know I take it with a grain of salt, BUT do
not want to step on any spotted rays...

I do not know if I want the hassle going to airport etc...
OK who been to the margaritaville in GC and what was your thoughts?

No, no Susette. Even with the risk of spotted rays, I wouldn't think
twice about returning to Rum Point. It really was terrific. I'm
curious to know what people thought was touristy about it!?!?!? It was
free to get on the beach and use a chaise. The only thing you pay for
is food & drink. And, it was so uncrowded. Maybe there were 20 or 30
people there, on the day we visited - if that.

Ride to the airport and picking up the car was a breeze, as was the
drop-off and return to town. To speed the process, I guess you can
take a taxi to the airport, rather than wait for their shuttle bus.

There's zero nude beaches in the Caymans.
The Caymans don't even tolerate going topless.

About the only chance that you would have would be to accidentally
stumble across someone who's cheating, most likely on a completely
deserted beach. And when I say 'completely deserted', I'm talking a
place like Point of Sand.
